Short‑Term Relief for Guardians, Caregivers, or Primary Staff. Our respite care services offer dependable, short-term support for adults (18+) needing temporary care. Whether for planned time away or emergency coverage, our team ensures safety, stability, and dignity during the respite period. Options include: - In-home respite: Our staff provide care in the client’s home (Edmonton area only). - Out-of-home respite: Short stays within Lumiere homes, space permitting. - Transition support: Bridge care for clients awaiting permanent placement or recovering from change. Staffing levels are adjusted based on complexity — including 1:1 support where required. Funding accepted: PDD respite hours, AISH income contribution, or private pay.
